Cincinnati Childproofing & Child Safety Consultants is a service which helps parents, grandparents and other caregivers childproof their homes and other facilities.  We are fully trained and visit homes to offer full safety inspections and install the quality products needed to help children remain safe.  The average home is not designed, constructed or furnished with the safety of a child in mind.  Because of this, many parents are unaware of the potential dangers that exist until an injury occurs.

When you call Cincinnati Childproofing & Child Safety Consultants and schedule an in-home consultation, a trained child safety consultant will arrive at your home at your scheduled appointment time. You and the consultant will do a thorough safety walkthrough of your entire home.  The consultant will discuss and provide information about child safety issues. The consultant will point out potential hazards and dangers to your child. We will recommend products to install and items to remove in an effort to make your home more child friendly. You decide which recommendations are appropriate for your level of safety. The consultant will keep track of the recommendations that you would like to have completed and customize to your needs. Most assessments and installs can be completed during the same day.

At the end of the consultation you will have the knowledge to out-smart your curious child at every turn! We'll provide a safety check-list and recommendations, with a detailed cost estimate for products for properly safeguarding your home. Included with this will be a listing of important local emergency numbers, useful web sites and upcoming events including local CPR courses.  All consumers will have their own login access to the most current information available via this website.

Baby proofing can't take the place of careful, loving adult supervision, nor can it guarantee that your child will not sometime, somehow have a serious accident.   Baby proofing does reduce the chance of accidents, decrease the severity of accidents if they occur, and prepare you to take the appropriate action in an emergency.
